Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Bolicover ("Bolicover", "we", "us", or "our"), including our website, editor, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What Bolicover Is

Bolicover is a web-based editor that lets you design and export cover artwork for playlists and tracks (for platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Deezer, and SoundCloud). You can upload your own images, add text and stickers, and download or save the resulting covers.

2. Accounts

To use most features of Bolicover you need an account. You can create one with an email and password, or by signing in through a third-party provider (currently Google or GitHub). You are responsible for:

Providing accurate information when creating your account;
Keeping your password confidential and safeguarding access to your account;
All activity that happens under your account.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Bolicover. If you are under the age of majority in your country, you may only use the Service with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Your Content

"Your Content" means anything you upload, create, or store through the Service, including images you upload and the covers you design. You retain all ownership rights to Your Content. By uploading or creating content, you grant Bolicover a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display it solely to operate and provide the Service to you (for example, rendering your editor canvas or hosting your exported covers).

You are solely responsible for Your Content and confirm that you have the necessary rights to upload and use any image, artwork, or material you add to the editor. Do not upload content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Bolicover to:

Upload or generate content that is illegal, infringing, hateful, or that you don't have the rights to use;
Probe, scan, or attempt to bypass the security or authentication of the Service;
Interfere with the Service, overload our infrastructure, or access it through automated means not authorized by us;
Reverse engineer, copy, or resell the Service or its underlying software without our written permission.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, with or without prior notice.

5. Free Access and Future Paid Plans

Bolicover is currently offered free of charge. We may introduce paid plans, usage limits, or additional features in the future. If we do, we will let you know before any charge applies to your account, and separate billing terms will govern paid subscriptions at that time.

6. Third-Party Services

Bolicover relies on third-party providers to operate, including Google and GitHub for sign-in, and cloud infrastructure providers for hosting, database, and file storage. Your use of those sign-in options is also subject to the respective provider's own terms and privacy policy.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service itself, including its design, code, branding, and features (excluding Your Content), is owned by Bolicover and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use the Bolicover name or branding without our prior written consent.

8. Termination

You may stop using Bolicover and request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, or discontinue the Service (or parts of it) at our discretion, with reasonable notice where practical.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that Your Content will never be lost; please keep your own backups of anything important.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bolicover will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
