SoundCloud and Twitch Banner Sizes: A Quick Reference

Profile art outside the usual square cover tends to get guessed at rather than looked up, since these sizes are less commonly known than a standard playlist cover. Here's what each platform actually expects.

SoundCloud track artwork

800×800px minimum, square. SoundCloud displays this small in most feeds, so the same legibility rules as a playlist cover apply, one focal point, high contrast, short title if any text is on the artwork at all.

SoundCloud profile banner

2480×520px, a wide letterbox shape. Keep any text or logo centered horizontally, the far left and right edges get cropped differently across devices.

Twitch profile banner

1200×480px for the banner that sits below a channel's video player. Twitch's own UI overlays some of this space with panels below the fold, so keep the important content in the upper half.

Twitch offline banner

1920×1080px, shown full-screen when a channel isn't live. This one has the most room to work with of any size here, and is a good place for a fuller composition rather than a single centered logo.

Designing for an exact, unusual size

None of these four match Bolicover's built-in presets exactly, so the Custom format is the right tool, type the exact width and height a platform expects and the canvas matches it precisely, rather than exporting a standard size and hoping a platform's own cropping lands somewhere reasonable. Custom sizing is a Pro feature, the square cover stays free for anyone.
